Mid to late February! That's when I'll be there, having travelled all the way from Australia, as detailed here:

Is this meet still an option? Surely now we're careering towards Easter the dates are being fixed.
AND I object to the patronising expression "our European friends".
Firstly, and everyone over here will tell you this - the UK is also part of Europe. (Well, what is it if it isn't - Africa?)
Secondly - "our ... friends" has, as I say, a patronising sound about it.
Thirdly - SOME of the Hootooers who live this side of the channel are just as British as you lot over there. (Frankie - you've met me. Do I wear short leather trousers or have sauerkraut hanging out of my mouth?)
So I'd like to read "those of us who live on the Continent" or something neutral like that.
Where was I? Oh yes - so what about this meet in Paris. When is it? And do we have to go to a theme park? Is there an alternative programme?

I was only directed here yesterday. Sorry. I did say you could come here while you were in the Strasbourg/Basel area. How's things now?

Well, to be honest, I'd almost forgotten about this. But if there's still some interest, then I'd certainly still be interested in doing it. Would be great fun!

Okay, so let's talk dates...
August is out for me, because of a job committment - but it's peak season anyhow. I have exams in May, but am free all of June and July.
What's best for other people?

I'm still interested...
As for dates, June's likely to be a little difficult for two weeks of the month (not sure of which two weeks yet though)... and I'll be off to england for a couple of weeks during July August sometime, but apart from that I'm free most weekends... and it's only a 2 hour train journey from where I am, so it's not exactly a major expedition for me!

I'm only 2hrs away as well, also free just about anytime. Where are you in France? I'm in Angoulême.

I think it's time to sort out a date! Try not to pick June 28th though.
And try to either pick a weekend that I can come, or a place that Ic an bring my son to!

June I'm escorting Amy round the Britsh isles (inc Nodnol June 28th ) July I'm taking her to Scotland, then late July I'm jetting out to Jamaica.
I probably won't be able to afford it - but if August is an option I'm there.
