Unfortunately no. I have to book my free flight 30 days in advance, and I'd had a nasty ear infection, which could've taken 6 weeks to clear, as it is, it cleared, but it was too late to book. Bummer, maybe next year

Oh yes of course I'm better, in time for the meet. I ensured my recovery by not booking the flight. If I had booked the flight, I'd of course still be ill

It's like, lighting up a cigarette at the bus stop will ensure a bus turns up almost instantaneously. If you don't light up, because you think the bus is due any minute, it'll take ages to get there.

If, however, you light up a cigarette with the plan that it will make the bus turn up sooner, then it'll take even longer

Yes, I've experienced that feeling in the past. Like waiting for a phone call and just when you cannot wait anymore and go to the privy, there it rings.
