I remeember going to a territial army open day, where they used this as achance to let people know what they do and to get recruits. There were various displays and even a change to use a semi-automactic rife on an indoor range. If I when I have thought this out and did some reseach could put a posting in telling them in general terms what the army life is like, what avenues are open to them as well as the recruitment process.

In this open day there will be the following displays, parachuting drops, freefalling, abseiling, tank driving, gun range unarmed combat, dog handling, and survival techniques demostrations. There will be chances for the general publict on this open day o make parachute drops, abseilling as well learn survival techniques. There will be an officer ready to take names and details of those interested in joining.

well, we can 'Ask h2g2' to join the Terranic Army, we can post messages on the pages of other h2g2 groups, get terran to write an article about the etrranic army for the post, invite certian people u know who post to h2g2 regularly personally on their PS...
u got anymore ideas?

why would they want to join a bunch of smeg heads when they could join the terranic army and possible a regiment of even better smeg heads (aka the Smeg regiment)?
