I'm Back

I have the immediate computer situation under control again, so you'll be hearing from me more often. 
I was able to pick up the new dog on New Year's Day. She's a tri-colored sheltie, one of the smaller ones. She is only 14.8 pounds and not quite 14 inches tall. And she is 5 years old, not 4. Her name is Spice. I'm already attached to her and she is definitely happy to be here. She likes Syn, who is here quite a bit and went with me to pick her up, but she is clearly going to be my dog. Shelties are very loyal to their "person". I'm looking forward to many happy years with her.
The heat is back on at the library. Fourth straight winter that the system has gone down when we need it most. I am way beyond unhappy. This time we had to replace a part that went bad the first winter. The good news is that we finally have a company working on it that understands the system. We had to go out of the local area to find them, but I'm much more optimistic about it all now.
My apologies to all my friends, but I don't have time to go back and catch up on all the journal entries I missed. 
I'm sure I missed a lot of interesting, fun stuff.

Since I'm only 4'11", I guess we fit together. 
She's absolutely gorgeous. Anyone who likes shelties would fall in love with her.

I love Shelties; a friend of mine breeds them and when they had puppies, he must have sent me a 1000 photos! They are wonderful dogs, and I'm so glad you found each other.

Welcome to the newcomer of the Hyp household. It is good that Syb cane with you to fetch her. I hope she brings you lots of joy and happiness.
Good that you have found the origin of the problem in the heating system of the library. It must be dreadful when the whole building is cold.
