I was told that
a. If I picked my nose too much my finger would go right through to my brain
b. If I ate carrots I'll be able to see in the dark
c. If I was naughty I was going to be visited by Father Bunloaf
d. If I didn't stop biting my nails I'd have no fingers left
e. If it was really bad winter weather outside then if I didn't wear a coat Jack Frost would come and visit me
f. If I behaved myself Father Christmas would come and visit and leave me lots of presents
g. If I left a tooth under the pillow the Tooth Fairy would visit and leave me ten pence
I had plenty of visitors to look forward to...it's obvious that my parents enjoyed torturing me as a five year old...
