Hi there!
Welcome to H2G2! I can see that this is your first Entry in Peer Review!
In its present state, I'm afraid that this Entry is not suitable for the Edited Guide. Have you read the Writing-Guidelines? If you haven't I would suggest that it's a good idea to, as it gives an idea of what is expected of an Entry in Peer Review
Perhaps you could choose a topic that isn't as wide as Reality? Reality is a broad topic, and this Entry would not be enough to cover the entire topic.

More like "Computer Controlled Cars?", or somewhere along those lines...

I feel this article is quite short and , dare I say it, too one-sided.
Unlike real reality, you allow for now black with your white - never mind shades of grey.
Surely there are other contributing other than the customary shonky advertising and (some people's) snail-like reflexes.

OK, I liked this article.
It's a very interesting perspective on one possible outcome of automation and technical advancement out-stripping human evolution.
Still, the edited Guide might not be the best place for this piece.
The H2G2 Post and the AGG would probably like to help you round out these ideasa and edit them into a more significant piece.
You have to remember that the Guide is lke a Travel Guide, especially the edited Guide. They report FACT here, even with regard to things like movies, music and society, it is the effort of those monitoring Peer Review to hold really rigid standards. The Edited Guide is a collection of factual pieces. The best advice to get INTO the edited Guide is to read about Writing for the Edited Guide. The editors wrote the book and they stick to it. Rightfully so.
This article belongs on H2G2. There are lots of places to "publish" it. I'd start with the Alternate on the H2G2 post.

Hi Rohit,
I see from your Personal Space that you have also written an entry on Safety in Cars. Now, that is much more the sort of thing that the Edited Guide is after. As there seems to be a little bit of a cross-over in these two articles, maybe you could use some of the material from this entry in the other.
I think the main issue with this entry here is that it's a little unfocused. Very interesting, but came away not really knowing what the point of it was or why it was headed 'reality' (an impossibly vague topic to address in just a few paragraphs).
It's not all doom and gloom though - as has been suggested, if you don't want to change this in order to get it into the Edited Guide there are a couple of options for you:
- You could submit it to the h2g2 Post, published every week (follow the link from the Front Page).
- You could, alternatively, do nothing - so long as you don't break any of the House Rules, everything you write on here automatically becomes part of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Earth Edition). The Edited Guide is just one part of that, and some people choose not to submit anything to the Edited Guide precisely because they dond't like writing within the guidelines.
So, in a way, congratulations - you've just written your first (and second) pieces for the Guide. Look forward to reading more from you

A790319 would be the other entry on 'safety devices in cars'? I like that. But this one, for all the reasons given, should probably be removed from Peer Review...

I think so too. Should we have a go at it?

oops! Think I've misinterpreted that expression... I meant 'should we put our hands on it and reap it?'
