How long can h2g2 tolerate you?

Nah-nah-ner ner ner, Nog's with me. I hope.
So to sum up your side: You agree you were diffrentiating between philosophy and religion, then claim you weren't, but then you add that you were, but you weren't diffrentiating between, um, God.
Fair summary?

Diff-e-ren-t-iating, folks.
Religion and philosophy overlap. You can't differentite (you've got ME doing it now!)between God. Only between God and something else.

anyhow, I didn't say what you thought I said, only what you thought I said, and then also what I thought you said I said, and the other way around, which you may or may have not said, but so what anyhow.

Noggin - Well done for clearly and concisely stating my point.
Az - We're running out of enemies to shout at, and are now forced to shout at friends. Sorry.

Don't worry. It was nowt special, it wasn't a conversation anyway. You said stuff and he'd give a kneejerk reaction. Even people who approached him in a friendly manner with a polite question got the firebrand treatment.
I have to say I'm glad he's gone.

I suppose there's a kind of morbid challange in trying to convert a fundamentalist into a freethinker, though.

But this one was actually mistaken for a computer program once. Someone played a joke and managed to convince most people that Justin was a mere AI algorithm because of his repetetive and predictable responses! It was pretty damn funny actually.

Aye, I read that page, it had me creased up . I particularly liked the response from the programmer of 'Steve'

He had a knack, did our Justin, of always bringing what you said round to something earlier so he never actually had to deviate from or question his own thoughts at all.
Ste - I think everyone realised Hoo was Steve, and it had me sniggering quietly at my screen for a few minutes. But did anyone actually take it seriously? I guess it might have been believable for those who didn't talk with him, but even I admit that he was merely a very good sample of humanity at its worst.

I'm just reading the backlog on the Why Christianity Fails To Stand Up To Reason entry
