A Conversation for The Answer To The Ultimate Question Of Life, The Universe, And Everything
What's it mean?

It isn't just that we don't know the answer or the question (and we don't because of the point I'm getting at) it's that we don't know the context of either. 42 was once the 42nd number; then some Arab mathematician invented zero and 42 became the 43rd number. The Universe runs on such a convoluted series of laws it probably doesn't use math as we know it. So, 42 is meaningless until we understand what basis the number comes from. It is the answer, but we can't read the language it's written in. That's why the Universe seems to make no sense. We need a good translation.
