Very awesome of you to rescue instead of getting a puppy! I know it's rough with abused dogs, especially when they have serious issues like that. You might want to contact an animal behaviourist of some sort, even emailing one of the rescue orgs would work. What kind of dog is he?

He's an 8 month old border collie. Our last 5 dog have been border collies because we like how intelligent they are (they're said to be the most intelligent type of dog). Unfortunatly they're also very curious and keep on wandering off.
