We really, realy would rather not see it. Honestly!
Well.... okay then.

Actually, I'll wait until it gets here, and I can take a pic of me on it.
And I'm shutting up now, honest

As threate...I mean, promised, here is The Peanut, on the day I got it.
All this week, Dai's been fiddling and fettling, fitting hand guards, lowering forks, and tracing the cause of a mystery fuse-blowing-situation . I can now get my feet comfortably on the ground, and am looking forward to a little run out over the weekend, a bit further than just Sainsburys Car Park.

OK, 2 pics now on Azahar's photo gallery thread thingy.
(Follow the thread link from my space if you can't find it)
Now all we have to do is find out why a fuse keeps blowing and I can take it to Skye this weekend....

Which fuse is it that keeps blowing, and are there any particular times or situations when it seems to go?

nd what rating is the fuse and what rating is it supposed to be?

7 1/2 amp, blows the instrument panel (speedo, rev counter, and most worryingly indicators).
It doesn't blow straight away, but was doing so when moving off. Dai's spent all morning stripping it and twiddling various wires, trying to eliminate all possible culprits. We THINK it's OK now - will go for a run this evening and keep fingers crossed.

Thank you Jemstone!
Just a quick update: The fuse held all the way from Lisburn to the ferry terminal at Larne (about 30 miles) and after I'd been sitting in neutral for a while getting a "computer says no" from the ticket girl, it blew. So I had to get on and off the boat with no instruments. But rode off with Dai in front of me and another mate behind, changed the fuse, wiggled the wire, and decided to avoid neutral for the rest of the trip. And that worked!
Made it all the way up to Skye in one go - my arms and shoulders were aching. Dropped it once on the way up, but then that's what crash bars and bar ends are for. At least the whiskey in my panniers survived intact!
