I thought a great name was "The Muppets", but alas this is already a club that the police bikers join.
The Researchers 
(sounds like some sixties pop group).
Kaz thought "The Speed Muppets" sounded funny..? 
How about The Quills (coz of all the writing). You could extend that to The Porcupines as they have Quills??
Just an idea ... I'll get my coat.

Well I think we might be stuck with H2G2 MC, Moonglum. It's not so bad...?
Now, how do we go about getting more biking pikkies, and in particular a club patch? Any ideas?

I'd sugguest the Joe Bar Team, but this is a french joke, and hence the name of a french comic strip series (about bikers and bikes). I'd like to find a satisfying translation of "jobard", but alas I can't.

I've been anti-british because of their attitude in India at the beginning of last century, and anti-american because of how they treat the Natives, and have utter contempt fot the Christian religion since the Spanish Inquisition.
...my point being that a significant part of the french population, if shown the Rainbow Warrior and some C4 explosives, would *not* have blown it to pieces...

Most Excellent name. Motto could be "Live to Write" . Just an idea ... I'll get my coat.
Once we've got the name done and dusted then I'll be happy to put some graphics up for a patch. Let me know if we have a go on this name.

Im glad you like MHMC and I agree about the info h'way being a bit naff...
The more I think about it, the more I think the motto should have a strong link to HHGttG
Maybe something involving a Hyperspace bypass
or the Infinite Improbability Drive,
or something to do with travel like the Heart of Gold
or maybe 'Milliways or bust'
