Caper Plip and I eagerly rushed home from school to watch this mindblowing children's game show, and dreamt of going on it.

We know it's a tad long, but to edit this down any further would mean leaving out many really quite important stuff. Just due to the complex nature of the game, it was going to be long anyway.

Anyhow, comments, as always, will be gratefully received!

ps Try and guess who wrote which sections!

What a wonderful Entry!! really in-depth and... well, just spot on really.

I fel a bit meally-mouthed correcting anything, but it's so small I don't think you'll mind:

- Both Grange Hill and Newsround were products of the 1970s, so your argument that they were part of a 1980s TV revolution doesn't really stand. I'm not sure this paragraph is all that necessary as it can simply be covered by saying "Nightmare was a turning point in CITV's battle against CBBC" or something.

- An addition - in British TV, Chromakey tends to be referred to as Colour Separation Overlay or CSO.

Apart from those two points, and maybe a bit of last minute proof-reading, this Entry seems perfect to me. Well done!!

Jimster

Zarquon's Singing Fish!

Do you know, I'm not sure I ever saw this.

Skargill the Goblinmaster - sounds like a certain leader of the Miners Union?

Overall, I enjoyed the entry. I'm not sure about the need for the should the bring is back, yes or no bit, though, although I can see if fits in with the first paragraph.

Absolutely incredible, I can't fault it after a very thorough reading. I'm probably not the only one that thinks that you should write together more often if this is the quality of the work. smiley - smiley

I've just got one tiny criticism, don't knock Pat Sharpe's mullet smiley - winkeye

Just a couple of points -

1) If I were you I would mention nearer the beginning of the entry, exactly the genre of this tv prog and a little bit of what it was like/about. This would help international readers who aren't aware of it. I think you mention it in about para 17 - which is a bit late for most.

2) Was Sinclair the first company to release a home computer? I thought they were beaten to it by Apple (circa 1977)?

Hiya!

Changes abound!

> added 'Main Objective of the Game' section after 'The Machinations...' section

> footnoted Apple, added that Sinclair created the first affordable home computer
