It's very quiet here. I think we're all still waiting for something unexpectedly good to happen, but suspecting something bad is going to happen instead.

It does seem quiet. Very quiet. I could almost see the tumbleweed rolling through PR.

I'm doing OK, bumbling through life just as I was when I left. Small baby is now small kid so I'm feeling slightly more human than I used to!

I'm doing quite a bit of LARP, started teaching clarinet, work for the council, and in between all that I'm squeezing in odd little hobbies and fancies in between all that boring real life stuff.

I've lent my clarinet to my niece, by the way. I've always tried to learn too many instruments at a time. Now I'm concentrating on just guitar and bouzouki, so I haven't played the clarinet in a while.

Sometimes you just have to admit you need to concentrate on a few things. I sold my hurdy gurdy for the same reason.

If that's a euphemism, I'm very sorry.

My gurdy never got me laid. Nobody would come close enough.
