Andrea Ortiz...used to want a coffeeshop...now I want a restaurant Posted Sep 28, 2003
Well...
I live in a University town and so many people do it here. It is only five miles wide...so a lot of people cherish there bike's as much as there car.
I want to be one of those people who seem to be having so much fun. Who ride their bikes almost all year round.

Hi!
I'm a cyclist!
A pretty aged one but last year managed to get my crumbling joints fit enough to complete my trip of a lifetime to Rome from my home in Fordingbridge, in Hampshire, the one in Southern England, which is in the UK, Europe ... lesser known spiral arm of the Milky Way. I am working on writing the story of the trip. Then I plan the movie, the T shirt, the Guide Entry, then little fluffy models of me to hang in the front of cars with the sign "Watch out for Fat Cyclists".
I am a member of the CTC and try to keep the local authorities on their toes by complaining about all the road planning they do which ignores cyclists.

Right, that's it. In the words of the Maitre d'Bot from Starship Titanic:
"Do not bother me, Sieur/Dame, you do not excite me, you are *boring* to me now, excuse me, Sieur/Dame, for now I prefer to hum. ."
Or something like that.

Just Zis Chap/Man/Guy has not posted in over a year. We might conclude he has left the building.

So just count yourself a member, like the rest of us. Don't think I'll go cycling in Thetford Forest if it's as lumpy as you imply. Bents like smooth roads. A bent on grass is like riding a wump.

I'm a cyclist!
Despite the continual theft of my bicycles from my home, I am still a cyclist!
I love it!
Currently I use my work commute as an excuse to ride.
I would like to tour The Czech Republic some day, and any where else my bike my take me!

Has anyone ever suggested having H2G2 Cycling shirts printed?
I think it could be cool.
Anyone interested?
We could put our heads together and design one.
Imagine yourself riding along, happily pedaling.
Hey!
Look!
Some guy with an H2G2 cycling shirt!

I'm a cyclist!
I prefer storming about up in the woods and hills getting muddy!
My 'iron pony' is a 1989 Specialised Hard Rock which has seen off more exotic steeds such as a Pace Research R100 (I was the second person ever to break one) and a Coyote HT2.

I'm a cyclist!
I get around Sydney on my Avanti hybrid, and sometimes hit the trails on either the Learsport or Raleigh mountain bike.
