h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm popping by as one of the assistant community editors(or <./>aces</.&gthere. One who doesn't mind admitting to being of a somewhat older generation himself(and feeling even moreso at times). We aces each greet a few of the newbies-such as yourself-and offer help in getting settled. To familiarize yourself with the surroundings, review my colleague Feisor's list of Hints and Links at A719840. And feel free to examine the various features in the process.
