The Writing Workshop caters for entries destined for the Edited Guide. I.e. entries which fit the Edited Guide Writing Guidelines in being basically factual, balanced and encyclopaedic in nature.
Set up by popular demand the Alternative Writing Workshop was a later addition to h2g2 and caters for writing which falls outside the Edited Guide's Writing Guidelines. If you'd like feedback on specific entries that are experimental, opinionated, fictional, written in the first person or fall outside the Edited Guide guidelines the Alternative Writing Workshop, <./>writing-alternative</.>, is the place for you.
