Because there doesn't seem to be too much happening here ... I thought I would try something new. I tried this somewhere else in h2g2 but it too hasn't started off that well, but it's early days.
I recommend that we start a story. The next person then makes a "positive" or "constructive" comment about the sentence, and then adds a sentence of his/her own, thus building an interesting and unique story. Any body game??
Here goes:
(1)Harry heard a distance church bell bounce across the warm fields. Sitting with his back firmly against a tree, he felt the birch bark dig lightly into the small of his back. He smiled and closed his eyes for a moment.
