Hmm. The ministry of Black.
Well, I also drive a black car, play a black bass (Westone), wear lots of black T-shirts and black Chinos, think very dark thoughts and am, well, erm.. black.
Yep, having thought it over, I hereby petition the minister to heed this acolyte's call to sign up and become a dark disciple.
If the title has not gone, I would like to be the Stygian One.

I've had fun looking up some of the lesser known words that you've used in some of your entries
I came across Crapulent, which made me 
- a bit schoolboy-ish I suppose
I doubt that I'll be able to use it in description of myself very often as I tend to be rather conservative in that direction

Ah there you are So sorry, I seem to have inadvertantly resigned from this conversation in a fit of housekeeping and so didn't see your reply
I will scoot along to the ministry and fulfill my task sometime this weekend, family permitting
Glad you liked some of my more obscure phraseology I feel the language needs a fillip now and again

When I was a lad I used to listen to John Peel late at night
He used to play little sketches by a guy called Viv Stanshall from an album he'd done called Henry At Rawlinson End
I managed to download some of it off the net the other day, the language he uses is absolutely fabulous
I've now got 45 minutes or so on a CD which is great for putting on in the car on a long motorway journey

Dunno 'bout this 'when I were a lad' business - I still listen to JP but mainly 'Home Truths' nowadays (although still occasionally fire up 'teenage kicks' when the mood takes me )
