My day was supposed to begin at 6 AM. I was going to wake up to my favorite radio station, work on my graphs, and sort of ease into my day with the help of some hi-test espresso.
Instead, I woke up at 7AM, to my furry temporary roommate gnawing on the bars of his cage (I'm watching my friend's black bear hamster), didn't get any of my graphs done, and had to hit the ground running without benefit of hi-test anything!
I was ten minutes late to my first class, a GIS lab that took the full 2 hours. So I was fifteen minutes late to the meeting with my advisor, the one I was supposed to be working on the graphs for.
Then I was very nearly late to my Learning Assistant class, and late to my tutoring session because I had to pick up some models for the client. It was all completely unnecessary though, because the guy didn't even show up! The good news is that I had my laptop with me, so I worked on those graphs that were due *ahem* two hours earlier *cough*.
They had a dedication ceremony today for the honors dorm, so they were passing out free food! So that was good! Free lunch, and it was the good stuff, too! However, after lunch I discovered that somewhere between my apartment and the tutoring area, I left my calculus notebook in the dust. By this time, it was too late to go back and look for it, so I went into the quiz cold.
Finally- finally- I get home to a phone call from my mom telling me that her union might be going on strike!
I need a !

AD! I didn't realize you were subscribed to my journal!
Anyway, there's a picture of a Black Bear Hamster on here: http://www.7seaspetstore.com/h.htm They're really no different than an ordinary hamster, just all black.
Good to see you too, Reef!

Should have got yourself a can of Jolt, that'd have got you all awake and alert. I see that place has little furry blobs and big furry blobs, love the pic of the ferret though

Jolt would have been good, but it also would have involved not forgetting my wallet...
The ferret picture is cute! I wish I could have a ferret, but they're far too smelly to go unnoticed in this apartment building!

I'd like a ferret, but my parents have always been opposed to it, my mom wasn't all that happy with my rats

Especially when they end up in the gas log fireplace...
Hey, are you ever going to respond to my post in the Magician's Guild?

I've figured out why the little b*gger has been making so much noise! He's biting on the bars! He's bored!
I bought him a treat, but I think he needs something to play with...
And no, I'm not getting him a snake! Or a cat, or any other thing that eats rodents! Only one more day, and I'm not killing my friend's hamster!
