This is a real fun thing to do once you've got a charecter created. There are only three stats to worry about: body, soul, and mind. Each corresponds to a different set of skills: chi, magic, and psionics. And with the approval of the Arbiters the players can create new weapons/spells/abilities. Give it a whirl. Its a whirleygig of fun .

I've already created an item...just have to get it aproved...although since that takes so long I might use it...but not in our duel...since I came up with it while I was fighting you...

and I'm a Psionic Adept...and a very powerful one at that...It's really fun to create the character...which makes up for the fact that there really isn't and RPG threads for them...although maybe if we get enough people the creator will create some...

If you know someone who is signed up on it, it can still be fun. I'm fighting supermoo using our RPG charecters. Oh and supermoo where do you submit new items?

...oh and EvilClaw...I just realized...you have both Delusional and Strong Willed...seems a bit contradictory...I suppose it could be that you are delusional but you are not as affected by things like implant memory...since from how it sound, I'd say, here, delusional refers to seeing things while the Srong willed refers to everything...

I thought about the delusional/strong willed thing too. But here's my take: Delusional is internal. My own thoughts confuse me.
However Strong willed is external: Any thoughts planted in my mind are rejected. Strong willed may as well be close minded
Oh and BL I would suggest going with whatever sounds fun. I would also suggest specializing in body, mind, or soul if its that confusing.
Heres some basic info: Body= chi. Whatever your body # = your points for abilities. Chi abilities can be magnified to increase effectivenss/strength, halved to conserve points, or extended to the next turn for one less point.
Psionics: Don't take any points at all to use but can only use one ability at a time (unless you have split concentration) and if distracted (hit, loud noise, ect.) the ability stops.
Magic: Some spells require chemical or physical additions or won't work. Can swap out spells with a spellbook that can carry twice # of spells you can.

...how I chose is I thought what I wanted my charactor to be like...then I looked for the closest match in the charactoristics...first you should probably figure out whether you want your character to be a magician, a fighter (much like the magician just with more self status spells), or a psionic (also much like a magician just with more flexibility in his use of powers...but unfortunately less powers that are damaging to an opponent)...

The chi masters get lots of cool powers! But there are some that i wish i chose like unholy strenght or whatever! Ten times the power! !
Black Leopard: if you can't get enough points for something try taking a disability. Most of them are fairly unobtrusive and undamaging.

just make sure you use a little bit of moderation...

Some of the disabilites can be used against you (phobias, infamous, ugly, ect.) and some just don't stack.
