I eris, goddess of discord, resident deity for the Thingite cause, keeper of chaos, discord, sock monsters and nine inch nails songs, do most humbly request on behalf of my fellow beleivers in Thing, that we be granted a smiley of a 'regulation titanium spork'. Such a smiley (which we suggest be heralded by the typing of ) would, we beleive, enhance the viewing pleasure of readers of any Thing thread. Additonal plus points to it's creation would be:
i) The ability for our most gracious Warlord Clive, our armourer Sir Loin and our honourary spork-giver-outer Shea to have an image of the regulation titanium spork to present to new recruits.
ii) A more effective pictorial weapon for our ever raging battle with the R&D lackeys, and the that rampages in the armoury basement.
iii) It would once and for all settle what a spork actualy looks like (for those who still insist that they do not know, it is basically spoon shaped, but with prongs/tines where needed).
iv) It might well shut me up
Please, please, please hear our cries for that which we truly truly desire, especially mine, as I didn't want to be the one to do this bit anyway, but was stared at until I came here to petition the great and good creators of Smileys.

Well said, eris.
Yes, the smiley is of utmost importance to the Thingite cause and I would like to add my weight to the aforementioned request.
