My math irritates my brother because it's not 'the proper way', meaning not how he was taught and therefore should be useless.
The teacher/business partner, didn't meet my brother until I was in college. I didn't know they had met until I checked the mail and there was a Christmas card with a name I recognized. My brother is 13 years older than me, we didn't move in the same circles, having gone to different schools etc.
