Missing You, Still...
Evangeline Started conversation Mar 1, 2004
Our last talk was a long time ago
Seems like yesterday
Wishing, won't make it tomorrow
So I could add the stuff I left out
You had such big plans
Things to do
Places to go
I remember your eyes
dancing with a blue fire
And, how your dimples deepened
when you were being mischievous
I know for a fact that you would not have hurt a fly....
Yet, You would have wrestled any one of us to the ground
Just for a laugh
Cousin, it's been twenty years
And, I miss you still
***Definitely not putting his full name here.***

Thanks.
I've lost other people, parents, friends etc. This cousin was really young and it was very sudden. That always seems to have more of an impact. As it is the twentieth anniversary, a memorial seemed a bit fitting.
The rest of my weekend was fine, rather quiet and peaceful. How was yours?

*sigh* Yeah I know what you mean about it having more of an impact.
My weekend was good, fairly quiet, but 2 nights of great ...Hammod B3 (actually A100, slight upgrade)organ quartet, have loved that sound since "Green Onions"/Booker T & the MG's!

We lost a family member on Friday.....OK - it's quite complicated....
My grandads brothers, sons wife......
My second cousin now has no parents - he's about 5 years or so older than me, but he is physically and mentally disabled so he has to go live with his brother.....
Oh, it's a sad old life...... (I sound far too british there don't I)!

Jazz, that sounds like a lot of fun
Vicki, my condolences to your family.
I hope everything works out for the best, concerning your cousins.

It was a draggy sort of Monday, seemed to last forever...until I got home. Apparently, my house and the store are in different time frames.
How was your day?

Is it Friday, yet?
There are several clocks around the store where I work. No two of them have the same time: It seems the kitchen is ten minutes ahead of my office and the office across the hall is five minutes faster than the kitchen. The time clock agrees with my office clock.

Wreaks all kinds of havoc on order deadlines.
I just use the clock on my computer...it's set by the atomic clock or whatever the internet thingy is that resets the time.

Hi Evangeline hun
how was your day? Mine was fairly uneventful, including a brief visit to the dentist.

Hi, Jazz.
My day was kind of busy. I've had a bit of a nap to recover. Currently watching a Red Dwarf DVD.
