My brother had surgery for prostate cancer some months ago. They got it early, they thought they got it all. Now, it appears that it has spread. I am devastated.

It does make for uncomfortable reading.
I've been looking for little glimmers of hope in it - hoping to find some somewhere. I suspect I'm not alone in this.

I'm mainly hoping that the lab result was a mistake. Other than that, it seems the cancer is a slow one, so some comfort there. And if they can delay it a few years, maybe new treatments will be developed.
