Hi Jane! Sorry I haven't been back to you sooner, but we're in the process of sorting out buying ( or trying to buy ) our new house. The prospective buyers of our flat are now having a bit of trouble raising their mortgage. I just hope it doesn't mean that we lose the house we're after. (SSSSTTTTRRRREEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!) It's all in the lap of the Gods now, and we just have to wait( DOH! ). On the subject of writing, I guess we all prefer writing about something that we like before something that we don't. I'll keep you posted about the move, and lots of luck and success with writing those papers. I'm sure you'll do o.k. Otter.

good luck with the house thing! i worry about where i'm going to live next year too... it's so complicated... let's all just grab some scrap lumber and move to mexico and set up along a polluted stream by the maquiladoras...and have anencephalitic babies...sorry, there's my environmental justice class invading my consciousness again.
still haven't gotten any work done, but a big deadline is coming up this tuesday, two papers and a group report... after that, most of my worries will be over.

How did the papers and report go? O.K. I hope. This house thing has kept me away from the pc for quite a while now, but we've just heard that our buyers have had their mortgage confirmed so it's all systems go now. I've been told it will all go very quiet for a while, whilst all the relevant legal stuff and paperwork is done, but hopefully we should be in our new house by the end of May ( HURRAH!!!). the report went well, the papers went okay, though i haven't gotten my philosophy paper back yet... and i wasn't satisfied with it but didn't get a chance to revise it since i realized i also had a spanish test and a whole lot of studying to do... ugh. and this week i've had research and a drawing to worry about. but spring break's coming

Glad the report and stuff went o.k. The new house has three bedrooms, a huge lounge, a large kitchen, gardens front and back and is situated in a quiet side street off a country lane Bliss!! We probably won't be able to move in until the end of May/beginning of June because of all the legal hoo-haa involved, but I can wait a few more months. I hope all the rest of your schoolwork goes well for you, as you say, spring break is coming so you can look forward to chilling out. Catch you soon Otter.

well, back from spring break... went to arizona to see aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins... except for not doing homework it wasn't extremely restful. i didn't stay in any one house for more than two days at a time. but it was nice being with family, having someone take care of me. now i'm back on my own. hopefully this month will go fast. i'm looking forward to being back home awhile.
