Hmmm...It does bear a resemblance to a certain number of the yin-yang variety. i don't even like mp3's. i'm struggling against the new technology. i'm going to grow up to be a grizzled, grouchy geezer telling kids about what it was like when i was their age... we didn't have any of this crap... we listened to CD's and we were happy! i was even against DVD's for a long time, because i resented being coerced into buying a new system. but now my computer has one and i'm totally into it.

I've just bought a minidisc recorder and wonder why I didn't buy one ages ago. Fantastic bit of kit! Look out for the Monster Magnet album "Dopes to Infinity". I personally think it's their best album, lots of very strong tracks. I already get called an "old git" by some of my younger friends but I don't care because they will end up the same eventually whether they like it or not. DVDs Rock! amazing picture and sound quality. Haven't got one meself yet but probably will for christmas. Otter.

Sorry been away doing stuff for a couple of days. Back online now. I used to hate school as well. Now I wish I'd spent more time there learning stuff than off with my mates riding motorbikes over the local wasteground. Stick with it my friend, it'll be for the best in the long run Minidisc can record anything you want it to. C.Ds vinyl, tapes or Mp3. I don't know why I didn't get one sooner. Stay chilled Otter.

wish i had some mates to ride motorbikes with. one o' dese days i is gonna buy myself a sweet li'l moped. can you ride those things on the sidewalk, i wonder? i see them parked on sidewalks around campus. they're so gosh darn cute.

Cute, but not too cool. why not go the whole "hog" and get a proper motorcycle. It doesn't have to be too big, but it would be better than riding a "hairdryer" as we say in the u.k. I believe in the saying "four wheels good, two wheels better" check ya soon Otter.

i'll probably stick with my four-wheeled toyota pickup... nobody's buying me any mopeds or anything else, dammit. of course i don't even have my truck now... maybe mom and dad will let me take it with me next year so i can drive around on these awful roads with all these other dangerous drivers... sigh.

What an excelent film! Brilliant twist at the end, had me fished in totally. Pick up trucks are . I want to buy an ex army land rover with a huge V8 in it, but there's not many about for sale and those that are tend to get sold very quick. Maybe I'll be in the right place at the right time one day. It's starting to get cold over here now, woolly hat time this morning. Christmas not too far off now, guess i'll have to start the Xmas shopping ( hate it! ). Don't you think Xmas is too commercial these days? Seem as though all the shops want are even more profit than the year before. I'm no way a religious person but it's not supposed to be about money, is it? yes, christmas is a-comin'. everything's too commercial these days, otter! everything! personally, i like x-mas shopping, though i've never had to do it on my own. i have nice little memories of walking around the mall with my mommy and daddy, buying stuff. This will be my first year as an 'adult' in our family, so i actually get in on the present exchange, where we draw names so everyone doesn't have to buy something for everyone.

I remember trawling round the shops with my mum, hating every second of it and getting absolutely bored s***less. That's probably why i'm not keen on it now ( Freud was right, our childhood memories come back to haunt us ). I s'pose I don't really mind so much now I've got two nieces and two nephews. Christmas is for the kids anyway, it's great watching them open their presents. I've just been made an ACE, Hurrah!! means I can meet 'n' greet newbies officially now. check ya soon Otter.

Itinerant: Working (fishing) in a number of different places for a short time. As to your question about ACEdom just click on my ACE badge and all will be revealed. I became an ACE because I wanted to repay some of the kindness shown to me by other ACEs that greeted me to h2g2. As an ACE I greet new people to the site, and make them feel welcome ( I hope ). It's great when you greet a newbie and then get a friendly reply from them thanking you for your help. Being a generally friendly bloke it just seemed like a good idea.
