h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

A couple of announcements today - we were overwhelmed by the response to the smileys talking point, so thanks for your continuing contributions to that discussion. We'll be going through them, as promised, on 2 September, so there is still plenty of time to get your suggestions in at A38860987.

Secondly, just a point about the pop-up surveys that you might see now and again when you visit h2g2. Many of you have probably filled them in several times (there was initially a very high uptake), but we just want to ask if you can take the time to fill them in if possible. Respondent feedback from these surveys is recorded centrally, and so it's important to us to have enough feedback to make an appearance on their charts. Please do let them know where we're going right or wrong! We know it must be repetitive, but we'd be really grateful if you could fill them in when you see them. Thanks!
