<..rather like going into a genteel tea room shouting your head off.>
Is this the reason I am sternly frowned at whenst I enter the tea room?

I've heard that. Does it also prevent you from shouting at the TV when regional programming interrupts the only thing you wanted to watch on TV to bring you more of what you don't?
They Paxo'd Paxo! Cut him off mid sentence with dodgy intro music!

How are you tonight Wilma? I'm Mikerhike by the way. Nice tmeecha.

Hi Mike,
Wilma, pleeztameecha too
Nah, I don't think there's medication for that - nuh uh. I tried all sorts but short of missiles at the TV nothing works. What's worse, they don't listen. You tell 'em and you tell 'em but they don't listen. I don't think they can hear me. You know that feeling?

I've seen them flinch. I'm sure. When they thought I wasn't watching. So I reckon they're just ignoring us.
They should just listen though.
I think I've eaten too much

Sleep well Wilma. Don't let anyone keep you awake by hammmering on the door shouting your name.
(no that's just silly) (And offensive, perhaps)
G'nite
