at 6.30 this moring my sister gave birth to a daughter, so i am now an uncle!

Kate! i haven't seen her yet, as my sister lives over 2 hours drive away, but me and my dad are going to see her on saturday.

I suppose you cannot wait to see your sister and her newborn baby.

They look so sweet and wise when they are that age. I remember when my neice was a few days old I was frightened that I would drop when I was holding her. They have a sweet smell of baby lotion and milk.

I would sing to my neice when I was changing her nappies: Nappy days are here again, the sun is shining Sarah's nappies are wet, Sarah's nappies are wet, Sarah nappies are soaking wet.
