No there is a RL* fact that links the three.

*Ok I know Bond is a ficticious charector but from his biography there is a link to the other two.

Is it that they all went to the Fettes school in Scotland..?

Both Bond and Blair went there as pupils. Connery only went there to deliver the milk.

And if I remember rightly (rarely a certainty ) Fleming only wrote that Bond went to Fettes after being impressed by Connery's portrayal of Bond.

I remember a gag in Trainspotting (the book, not the movie) about how labour laws must have been much laxer in 50s Edinburgh, seeing as everyone in the city claims to have had their milk delivered by a young Sean Connery...

Sean has apparently turned up to the school and said he did deliver milk there appaenrtly and there is a plaque to commererate the fact.

You mean he just turned up there, said, 'I used to deliver the milk here,' put up a plaque and wandered off?

What a strange thing to do.

Film stars, eh?

Is Connery going around putting up plaques *everywhere* he delivered two pints of gold-top? Or is this some weird attempt at social climbing?

'Yesh, I may have been only a milkman, but I delivered the milk to high classh public shchoolsh, don't you know.'

C'mon, Sean, I thought you were better than that...

I think it was either some school celebration or he was speaking at founders day or something possibly.
