Neve Campbell And The Naughty Photographs
Rat, who can't remember his way round this bloody thing. Started conversation May 10, 2004
I never did like Sundays. In fact, I always hated them. I've slept through as many of them as I possibly could over the years, but this one was to be an exception. You see, I ran out of sugar last night, so I had to get up before the shop shut at 5pm so I did.
I figured I'd spend the day getting some work done or doing something, you know, productive. It turns out, I spent the day downloading slightly naughty pictures of Neve Campbell. While it wasn't particularly productive, it was far more satisfying.
Unfortunately, it's also a lie. I didn't do it. Don't get me wrong, if I were to spend an entire day downloading slightly naughty pictures of somebody, Neve Campbell would be the first on the list, but the truth is, I couldn't even be bothered doing that.
This journal entry is merely a long winded way of saying today I went to the shop, drank some tea, smoked a bit, went to the toilet, ate cake and absolutely nothing more. I don't really know why I'm telling you this either

Sorry, Rat, I don't know who Neve Campbell is, so there are only two things I can say:
1. wibble
2. I sang at a special Mother's Day service at a local church, then had lunch at a buffet-style Chinese restaurant in the town of Canton. After that, I went to see "Van Helsing" at the local cinema. When I got home, I took a nice walk, and then ate some home-made lentil soup with turkey breast.
Actually, this was an unusually busy Sunday for me. Usually, I like to loaf, and there's nothikng wrong with that. Don't feel guilty about it, Rat.

I had a small panic yesterday...somebody came in a chat room and offered a happy mothers day to everyone.....I'd forgotten...I counted my pennies and didn't even have enough money for a card...
It wasn't until I went to buy my sugar today I realised - I asked him if I could have a mothers day card on the tick and he looked at me dumbfounded - it seems we have mothers day in March over here

Evangeline, let me explain that I saw a trailer for "Van Helsing" four months ago, and was very much looking forward to seeing it. I enjoyed it, but I realize that it's not for everybody. The plot is absurd, the really scary stuff happens offscreen (they wanted to keep their PG-13 rating so the video-game age group could get in to see the film and then go out and buy the computer game ).

I strike you as someone who would rather see the scary violent stuff or someone who insists on a non absurd plot?

Well you've beat my record, for not going out to current movies.
Mostly, I either rent or buy videos. I really kind of prefer movies that have plots and dialog.

I've seen the Vincent Price movies, and the Bela Lagosi movies. Also enjoyed the Marx Brothers, Jimmy Stewart and Cary Grant movies. Arsenic and Old Lace is one of my favorites.
Bugs Bunny does a great Peter Lorre...

*has never heard of Peter Lorre but laughs anyway*
My favourite film of all time is either Dawn Of The Dead (the original) or Day Of The Dead...they're sooo much more than zombie films...they're more like animal farm but with zombies instead of pigs

Peter Lorre:

He would do the character that would talk very quietly and sort of lisssp liike thissss.
That should be a t-shirt: Soo much more than zombie movies.

I've seen a few of them....
Thats a lot of movies though - it's hard to imagine anybody doing that many these days with all their poncing about taking 8 years a scene

Back then acting was required, now it's all special effects.

Yeah...we have movie stars instead of actors these days....it's hard to explain what I mean is the difference, but compare, say, Arnie to Marlon Brando....

Evangeline Posted May 10, 2004
I know the difference...
Good actors are rare these days. Harrison Ford, Sean Bean, and (surprisingly) Matt Damon are some of my favorites.
I'd rather not compare Arnie to anything.
Don't start with me about
