h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Did anyone else get to see the Queen Mania show on ITV1 Saturday night?
Have to say that there were some real duds Coronation Street doing I Want to Break Free and Toyah doing Don't Stop Me Now were particularly awful.
I did enjoy G4 and Lesley Garrett's version of Barcelona, also appreciated Myleene Klass' version of Too Much Love and Russell Watson's version of Who Wants to Live Forever.
The rest of the acts were so so including G4s performance on the night of Bo Rap which I felt they have done better in the past.

Wouldn't you like to do a guide entry on that?

Oh yes. i was totally unimpressed with some of those versions. G4's Bohemian Rhapsody was painful. Toya Willcox was just embarrassing. Tony Christie's great doing Amarillo, but he chose the wrong Queen song to do.

Mel C wasn't too bad. And Barcelona was great. They did that one justice.

To be honest the program isn't worth a guide entry. Apart from a couple of high spots it was pretty dire. Especially the Coronation Street spot, thinking about it I am getting quite upset about the very poor effort made by the actors considering the effort Queen had made to parody Coronation Street in the I want to Break Free Video. .
What I can't believe is that Queen had been involved in the making of this program.

They were? Didn't know that. I thought it was a group of people making a tribute.

Think some of the singers chose totally chose the wrong song to sing. It was painful to listen to.
