i used to work in Kirkintilloch - "A local place for local people..."

Still not as bad as Cumbernauld.

I must confess to being English as well, but I've lived in Scotland now for 14 years. Does this qualify me for Scottish researcher status? In which case I will endeavour to promote a positive image of Motherwell. Or I could choose to do something easy like climbing Everest naked...smiley - biggrin

Post 12

Mort - a middle aged Girl Interrupted

but i would start a new thread in case you get overlooked on this one!!

The Psycho Chicken -- self respect intact

Well I've lived in Scotland for 24 of my 29 years so I think I qualify.

Besides, I'm not really English - I'm a Scouser.

Ku'Reshtin (Bring the beat back!)

I'll set the standard here so that people won't feel uncertain about how long they have to have stayed in Scotland to qualify for the SRG.

I've been in Scotland for just about 4 years, and I've been a member of the SRG since pretty much the start, which was about two years ago (anyone can correct me on this if that's incorrect).
This is, as I said, just a bench mark for foreigners like meself so that no uncertainties arise whether or not you've lived in Scotland long enough to qualify.smiley - smiley
