Sorry about the house, DD. Never mind, somthing'll turn up. And Moira reckons you're probably better off out of Fauldhouse anyway!

Who is this strange Doctor chappie, and why should we believe he's one of us anyway? Just because he says he's the husband of Mrs V is no reason to suppose he actually exists smiley - biggrin

Doctor Gonzo, you're on the money with those suggestions for meeting up as far as I'm concerned. How about a few pints one week night just to distinguish it from a full-on, week-to-recover meet?

I'm late to join up, but I'm a McKinnon on my Mum's side and a Campbell on me Da's. (Everyone can hate and like me whichever side your on... smiley - winkeye) I'm on the wrong side of the world (Denver, CO, USA) so I'd like to be listed as a displaced Scot, if I may.

Thank ye.

If you,pay enough cash, there's a tartan for any surname... Which is why I don't give a lot of credance to tartans which originated after the 19th century...

My Mother has a skirt which is in the official "Australian Tartan" - go figure...?

(I'm not a tartan snob, but I have a problem with the idea that having a specific tartan associated with your particular cause gives it a sense of "history" as is often assumed by non-Scots.)

Well, it's not so much that I want a Ring tartan as how ridiculous a tartan composed of concentric circles would look... smiley - biggrin

Either that, or get it severely wrong and end up being used for archery practice....
