I'd be really interested to know which roughest part of Fife Dr Gonzo was born in - my home town is Methil, East Fife, but I've heard that Dunfermline is worse. Sign me up, please!

smiley - wow We both share the dubious honour of coming from that area - although I'm actually from Methilhill, which is pretty grim.

Ooops! Er, Bonnybank, that's the nice part at the top end, as you go towards Cupar, isn't it? Rather lovely place, I've always thought. *backpedals furiously*

Nah, come on, Kennoway makes Methilhill look positively up-marketsmiley - tongueout

*wonders how long it will be until she has managed to offend everyone*

heh smiley - winkeye

*wonders if he knows you*

So, who are you, where are you, what kind of age are you, and what school did you go to? (That should let me know one way or the other)

My name's Alan Miller, I attended St Andrew's High in Kirkcaldy, and I'm 22. Although, even if you lived next door, and sat next to me in class, you might have trouble remembering me smiley - winkeye

Right sort of age, certainly, but the name doesn't ring a bell, and I went to the mighty Kirkland High School (but sadly left before the Great Crop-tops Riot of '97 when all the kinderwhores refused to go to classes and smashed teachers cars in protest of their right to wear short skirts and tiny T-shirts to school. They made it into the Daily Record! I was so proud...) so it's unlikely we've ever met. My name's Mary Duncan (and I hate it), I'm 23 and when I was younger I was the only goth in the whole of Levenmouth, so you may have laughed at me in passing, but no, I don't think we know each othersmiley - sadface

Oh, we had riots as well. I think our protest (I say ours, but I was on study leave at the time) only made it into the Fife Free Press. And what's wrong with Mary Duncan - sounds like a good, solid Fife name smiley - run

I don't recognise your name, but I can guarantee that I know people who know you. I used to 'hang around' Lower Methil when I was 18. Ahh, the memories. I remember standing around, talking to few people, before the police arrived and arrested everyone except myself for some prior crime. I was pretty unusual, in that I, like, read books and stuff smiley - smiley

I always find it odd that there's the possibility of me talking to someone via the net, then walking past them on the street.

Possibly even pushing past them in a queue, or getting in their way, knowing me smiley - winkeye

(If you see a scruffy guy with a hairstyle 35 years out of date waddling alond Comely Bank Road, give us a wave smiley - winkeye )

Hey, whole lot of Edinburgh people in here. DoctorGonzo, I'm not far from you, DD works along the road from me, and Musselburgh's not a million miles away, scatty catty. We should have a mini-meet sometime.

DD, did the place in Fauldhouse not work out for you? I thought you were fairly certain about it.
