redpeckhamthegratehoolgian (U528654) is coming to visit.
She lands in Sydney on 28 February before starting a 75 day tour of Australia on 1 March. So you Sydneysiders have a couple of days to meet up with her if you want to.
Maz and myself are planning to meet her when she reaches Melbourne and if anyone else wants to come along they're more than welcome.

I'm likely to be in Sydney on 28 February; once this is confirmed I'll see what I can do about hanging around at Mascot or whatever.
I might be in Melbourne in late April, too. More specifically, the 25th or thereabouts.
Of course I'll catch up with our esteemed visitor when she manifests in Canberra, but if we happen to coincide in other places it could be amusing...

Thanks everyone. G'day. Did I pronounce it right? I only just booked my tour and the minute I did I felt very scared. But I'm also incredibly excited. I have wanted to visit Oz for as long as I can remember.
My email is giddy dot geddy at virgin dot net.

In case anyone is interested this is the tour company I'll be going with http://www.jarmbie.com.au/. They seem about the best imaginable. You can do shorter tours with them as well.

This *does* seem like the best imaginable adventure in Australia. Red.
I know you'll have a fantastic time of it.

Can you give me link to chrimbo thread? Are you talking about a Sydney meet-up Feisor? If so I can give precise dates for Sydney so we can arrange. The Melbourne one is while I'm on the road so is vague at present.

That's the first time I've tried a link in H2G2 - goodness I feel clever. I'll feel even more clever if it works.
Yes Red, I had a look at the tour details. You'll be hitting the high points for sure. I haven't been to about half the places on the list, but the other half (in NT/SA/Vic/NSW) I can vouch for. Kakadu and Litchfield in particular are worth it. Watch out for crocodiles...
