4th Sydney meetup - Today!!!!

Post 241

Linus...42, i guess that makes me the answer...

I'm glad the rally was a success, even if i had a prior commitment.

I was at Summer Hill shops in the morning and there was a constant stream of people heading in there.

I feel a bit guilty about the wallet, but i guess if it didn't actually happen in the pub i can rest easy...

Feisor - -0- Generix I made it back - sortof ...

Tash,

I love your attitude about the wallet - I agree with you - that's why I never carry anything precious in mine smiley - biggrin It's horrible though to think that someone actually stole it. smiley - grr

As to J smiley - grr H - I'm sure that he is just "putting on a politician's face" and that underneath he's panicking

I kind of agree Feisor, let's keep our fingers crossed.

Linus - please don't feel guilty, it was just of one of those things - my guard was down for a second, and whoosh!!! (a bit like the sound deadlines make, etc)

I have already moved on with my life (cue violins - tee hee)

Good grief. It makes me wonder how I ended up only leaving my phone behind and not managing to lose anything else!

Speaking of phones, I must see if I've got Shrillian's phone number written down anywhere, so I can see what's going on with my phone! *G*

can't help you there, but i think she has an email on her homepage.

...Shrillian...

Tash - personally, i wouldn't mind if little johnny was eaten by a mad man (madate) smiley - winkeye

Also, I love the way that the press is saying "Like our own PM, America is saying that it will not be swayed by the rallying....". Got to love the fact that they're all deluded about Johnny being able to make up his own mind... smiley - laughsmiley - winkeye *ducks from any Howard supporters*

smiley - cheesecake - leaving the house in about 5mins...

Pond - smiley - tomato you should have come anyway! Annie did!! (speaking of which, has anyone heard from her since the meet??? Is she still alive???). If only we had a camera - we would have been able to make you jealous with the FUN we had!!! Isn't that right Linus? Feisor? Tash? Platypus? smiley - cheesecake? Annie?

Platypus - I'm guessing you're writing the report?? *crosses fingers*

Not that I'm proud if it, but that was the first time I've ever drunk enough to forget bits of the evening, or to actually throw up the next morning. smiley - laugh Which makes me pretty atypical for a teenager, I think.

I only ever did that once - never happened again...

...especially as the police took me into their custody, rang my dad, who then had to come from Carlingford to Dee Why to collect me! He was surprisingly cool about it, though.

ahhhh, the bad old days when I could stay up till 3am and still be bouncy the next day!

smiley - laugh Well, the worst part for me is that things are slowly creeping back to me out of an alcohol-soaked haze. That and the fact that I was still drunk when I woke up the next morning.

Pond_Rat [life is weird - laugh at it.]

Ahh there-in lies your mistake TopHat KittyKat, you should've had some hair-of-the-dog and stayed drunk - thus avoiding the hangover...

smiley - laugh I was all out of 'hair', having polished off my remaining vodka on the Friday night.

...Shrillian...

smiley - laugh

*once again thanks the gods she doesn't get smiley - hangovers*

smiley - cheesecake - poor babe.... smiley - cheerup

Pond - very true - they say that you should have a beer in the morning (or whatever you were drinking the night before) so you don't go all icky...

Linus - I thought as much, we drove past the two of you walking, and it didn't seem like a "we're going home" kind of walk.....wind yourself down enough?
