I'd like to see another series of Blackadder esp if it was as good as series 4 (world War 1).

The best episode of Red Dwarf was the JFK one "the conspiracy theorists will have a hard time sorting this out!"

I don't know if you can get the series on dvd but i know you can get the whole set on video as i have the set including the christmas special and back and forth. You can get them from HMV I think there about £19.99

I do totall agree that w need a new series of Blackadder! i find the programme so utterly fantastic that i would love to see some new ones. However there are not only SO many times that you can watch repeats, i personally find that they are still as funny whether yu have watched them once or several times! Please Please create a new series, perhaps it could be set in the 1920's period...just an idea..Helen

I think perhaps that as the series got further and further from the original, they became just generic Ben Elton shows.. with far too many referrences to inserting this into that and "funnily" named vegetables like turnip. I don't really like ben elton's writing, as it is so damned repetative and unoriginal. If they should bring any show back, it should be that one where Richard Nixon and John F Kennedy debated about various topics... you know it, it was black and white..

You know - it's classic. I am not sure however, as much as I love the show, if it should be continued with another series. Classic shows like faulty Towers was just right. I love to bits only fools and horses but I personnaly thought that the latest xmas special was just not quite there. It maybe time for them to call it a day - finally. It kills me to say this because it is all brilliant and there doesn't appear to be any more of them out there.

While I agree to the principle of it's return, let us not forget the disastrous SKY TV version that was produced recently (or maybe it was a while back, but the horror of it all is still fresh in my innocent mind). Sometimes, it's not good to go back, as in Harry Enfield (on SKY as well, is this a recurring theme)Only Fools and Horses (The last 2 Xmas Specials)and of course S Club Juniors.

I agree! I think that show is HILARIOUS! Unfortunetly, I don't think it's popular enough to come back, plus the actors would NEVER agree to do it all over again. I think they were sick of each other enough after making the movie (which I never got to see all of, wahhhh...)

I always wanted to see a Blackadder series set in the future, a sort of Star Trek mickey-take.
Captain Melchett, Commander Blackadder, Ensign Baldrick...you get the picture!

Do you Realy Think Actinson (i'm dyslexic) whants 2 do another Blackadder or Tony Robinson cus dont you think there getting a bit to old to do it now, and there has not been anything major like a world war since they made the last season (each season represented a sugnificent part of our history progressing from Hery the 7th to WW2)

G-d did I need 2 fix that typo ahhhhhhhhhhh! Blackadder should definetely come back but I think it has lost it's chutzpa - if u saw Back and Forth u gotta have seen that something was missin?!
what would they do - Blackadder does the 60's? the 70's? the 80's?
what is there for them 2 do...I admit it would be interesting but there are people alive who know how it really was in those eras with the Edwardian thing, Elizebethan times etc. nobody knows and the World War thing well the largest majority of those who still remember relive it and either content themselves by droning their stories into the ears of bored youngsters or drool out the sides of their mouths, wear huggies incontinence pants for the elderly and talk 2 plants, cats, etc. that are long since deceased.
It's a sad fact but what is there for Blackadder really?!
Mind you I could see Baldrick behind a check-out in Safeways or havin a quick nibble of a turnip in the trolley park. Blackadder the future years..hmmmm?
