at least you knew it was a tree some in the UK have been taking the wrong meaning on "shag"

The liars can NOT say they are a liar, so if Lt Pigeon thinks the Major said he was a liar ( they all know who the truth teller is) and Sergeant Bash confirms he he said he was a liar, they can not both be telling the truth, so the Major truthfully said I am telling the truth, and does not lie.

I could expose all the rest as liars, but that would be overkill.
