QI rugby cheats?
Clive the flying ostrich: Amateur Polymath | Chief Heretic. Posted Aug 27, 2009
I was thinking more a long the lines of porting over the table currently appended beneath the scoreboard to a FAQ page where we can say - new arrivals, the format of the game is this..
1) Think your answers in advance.
2) Pick your klaxons in advance.
3) Awards points for any of the following....
etc.
Maybe some advice on how to write questions (no offence to the present question) but to avoid trivia type questions or how to take trivia and make it QI?
I'm just throwing out ideas here but it just struck me that now in our third and glorious year we don't really introduce the mechanics of the game we've made rather we sign people up and expect them to get on with it - with a few nudges and corrections from us, perhaps - but how much easier and organised it would be if we could just say read Axxxxxx and ask us if you need owt clarifying.

try at base of posts is one of the two remaining ones, so well done, the others arent tries.
The remaining method is quite sneaky.

What about running out into touch, AROUND the try line and then back into play to receive a pass and score.
Can't see it happening without getting offside, mind.

thats close enough Mu, you can kick it over and then run through the touch area to score.
