Fugazi is also the name of a 1984 album by Marillion. Here's what front-man Fish had to say about it:
"Our second album was to be aptly named 'Fugazi' (all f****d up, all screwed up), which was a word I'd found in a book called 'Nam' - a collection of reminiscences from veterans of the Vietnam war, put together by Mark Baker. I'd always been intrigued by that particular war and had been obsessively reading about it during the 'Script' tour which ended at Hammersmith Odeon, London.'"

I've often seen that album and wondered about it's title. It seems to come from the same or a similar book to the one Ian got the name for the band from.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
