...Thinking back to my own student days i took a job working at a pub/club/restaurant place....... i only did a few hours a week, but i got free booze at the end of the evening, it was a place frequented by students, so it was handy to be able to get my friends in free. I always got a proper tasty meal at some point too, as well as getting the odd bit of food to take home on occasion. (be good friends with the chef
Obviously, its got to be the right type of place, but a few of my friends had similar jobs a couple nights a week, and all got the same type of treatment.

oh. and PR work can be a good bet too.... i knew a girl who would spend some time giving out flyer for various clubs on Friday nights,and so obviously got free entry to loads of places, as well as the odd free drink as well.

Both examples come with the added bonus of generating hard cash too of course too.....

That's not money saving so much as money earning, though, really.

well, com-se com-ca, its a bit of both, point is, free booze, free food, free club entry etc etc..... plus, of course, youre not spending money when youre making it, and it never really felt like work one or two nights a week...... and there were plenty times i was glad of a tasty square meal....
