The h2g2 site freezed up on me when I was trying to post! Anyways, thanks for including me! Looks like we'll have to go out and recruit more South Africans for h2g2, doesn't it?
You guys ever been up North?

As far as Venda. Don't know about Pietersburg though. Once met a surfer who sold his surfboard, and moved to Pietersburg to be with his girlfriend. Does that count?

I've been to Cape Town. Lived in Somerset West while working in Bellville for about 6 months. Spent my weekends in Gordon's Bay. Love the place. Only been into Cape Town itself twice.

Hello Snoeker! Glad to get to know you.
I have never been to Cape Town yet! The closest I ever came was Mossel Bay.

Howzit everybody!
Do please count me in, even though Home Affairs still sees me as a temporary resident alien with a citizen spouse married only for convenience in order to take away jobs from citizens. But surely I get points for bucking the emigration trend?
Live in Midrand and am proud of it. Have wandered north on numerous occassions...Pieterburg, Tzaneen, Duiwelskloof. Special place in my heart for the Modjadji Nature Reserve where cycads reign. Back in '95 when I was first making frequent visits to SA, it oddly rained (Aug and Sept in Joberg) each time I came, and people started calling me Modjadji, the rain queen...

Well my knowledge was limited to knowing that you had worked in Cape Town. You've never really spoken about it before.
