Bad poetry is an art, it's true,
but never worse than when you
Take emotional angst combined with alcohol
and to your notebook fall.
Emotions wrung out, painful, blue,
flow into the writing you
commit to paper, only to be flung
into the fireplace when they're done.
Your ugliest piece will be retained,
by evil accident will remain.
Located by a boisterous friend,
It will be read, aloud, again.
So remember friends,
when your heart's been toyed,
Make sure the evidence has
been destroyed.
Cheers!
