I used to work with a woman named Mary Anne.

last night I dreamed I visited her house. I prepared some fish and some cabbage, and she hid the pots I had them in.

Cabbage? In a hidden pot?

Maybe she was trying to make kimchi

No, she had control issues. Keeping other people from doing what they wanted to do was her game. At least, the version of Mary Anne in my dream was like that.

Not the woman of my dreams then

But maybe the woman of your nightmares.

I've seen so many (and so much) that nightmares don't scare me anymore

But maybe I could scare them

You could give it ago, but she may be retired.

I was thinking of scaring the nightmares, not the woman

Some people say your dreams fight your monsters while you are asleep so you don't have to face them while you are awake

They also say that sometimes you don't remember your dreams - and that this should tell you how vicious your monsters are

This has made me thinking about last night, because I can't even remember much of what happened the last few hours *before* I went to bed!

However that might also have something to do with the party I had with myself to celebrate that my latest blood test came out with flying colours, of course ...

I have more national colors than you do. I have blue as well.

Not lack of oxygen. "Blue" states are those which tend to vote for Democrats. I'm not making this up.

That's alright then. Over here blue blood signifies noble heritage. But I have given up my right to the throne. It may be well paid but also a lot of work

I had no idea that you even had a right to the throne. Not that I would think more or less of you if you did, but surely your chances of ever getting to the throne would be vanishingly small, right?

Indeed. I have three older siblings. So there's little chance I would ever had any chance anyway
