On the set of a Holylwood movie [a dream]

Last night the cameras rolled. I had had a bit part in a movie the previous year, so I was being written into a movie as a cop-star along with Mark Ruffalo and Matt Damon. Well, you know how dreams are. At no point had I seen a script, so I assumed that the prompters would fed me my lines. Mark and Matt were encouraging to work with. Then I put my foot in my mouth when the director wanted to know why there weren't any flowers in the yard of the house we were filming in. I spoke up about there had been flowers galore just the week before, and this upset him somehow.

Not a cop-star, but a co-star. If anything, my associates and I were supposed to be planning some kind of caper.

And once more you inspire me to listen to some very fine music, paulh
"I dreamed I was in a Hollywood movie
And that I was the star of the movie
This really blew my mind..."

To dream about taking part in a movie means that either something from your subconscious is about to be revealed to you. It could represent scenes from your past or past stories that you have read or movies/TV shows that you have watched. It could be showing that you could be taking up a new role which your mind is showing you in your dreams.

Yep, I'm headed for a new role.
Pierce, you are truly amazing! I didn't know that song even existed...

Nothing amazing about it, my friend. I learned Eric Burdon's album when it was released (in 1970 or 1971, I believe) and have loved it ever since. In particular his rendition of "Tobacco Road". Here's a live version I've never heard myself before:
