I planted green beans in front of my house on Tuesday -- I bought a bag of organic garden soil for the job, as the regular soil is so crappy.
Today I will plant cucumbers in some long, narrow planters that will border my porch. The plants will climb the porch railings. I have a bag of organic potting soil to fill the planters with.
The third step will involve filling round planters with potting soil and planting carrots and Swiss chard in them.
Then I'll be watering everything every day for the rest of the growing summer.

this summer. Nothing quite like sun warmed free range from ones own backyard

I might buy potted tomatoes after I plant all my seeds.
The cucumber planting will be postponed because of rain today.
