People who grow up as only children can pass themselves off as the youngest or the oldest as they see fit.

i am told this is not so. only children live a different life than firstborns, "sandwich kids" and last borns

80 years old and she said the leaves weren't as green...
She knew her time was nearly up. We are all leaves on the same tree and some go yellow before others and those tend to fall first.
What an open and honest and gentle thing for her to say. Where ever she's gone to I'm going too.

She was an absolutely marvelous woman who is still remembered by many, so many decades after her death. They named the new elementary school after her.
The color receptors in the eye can fade late in life, especially the ones that see blue. Greens would look more like yellow. She probably was telling the truth about what she was seeing. No one could have done anything about it, though.

i hope not
well, not that i would not like to live long, but my eye sight is bad enough as it is
but i'm not going to let that worry me
millions of people are worse off than me - maybe even billions

i live in a country never threatened by wildfires, earth quakes, tsunamis or anything even remotely similar
the most dangerous animals here are wasps and adders. on average they kill two citizens every year (out of a population of 5 millions)
so far we have not been bothered (much) by car bombs or other terrorists attacks
i pay a lot of taxes (according to the news we have held the world record for years) but on the other hand i have a fair health insurance and even if i am a single now i can rely on people to help me when i need them to
personally i have to deal with a few ailments, but had i lived in certain other countries my fate would have been worse
what more can i tell you?

You can tell me if you have houses for sale in your neighborhood.
Give me a moment to pack my bags......

ha, iceland used to be ours, but we let it go in good time
you could give us back the Virgin Islands though. we sold them to you 31. march 1917 for 25 million dollars - a price that is still acceptable for us

kowloon is a good place to eat, i hear
by the way, i hear oprah is in copenhagen with barack and michelle and a rather lengthy list of other celebrities trying to convince the international olympic committee to make chicago the home town of the 2016 olympics
when she heard that different surveys have have several times appointed denmark 'the happiest nation in the world' she decided to find out why and make a special broadcast on the issue. they say it will be aired in 145 countries worldwide so you should have a good chance to see it the 9th october
funny this should happen just when i told you about how happy i am living here
let me remind you that i was born and grew up in germany so i could be just a tiny bit biased

I'm sure you aren't alone in having left Germany. Some of my ancestors had to leave France because they were Huguenauts; they went to Germany and became Germans, then left Germany for America. We're still in America, because we've run out of places that would have us.
That sounds like a good story idea.
Excuse me.
