Doctor's New Companion (or will be!)

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD
HooTOo is brilliant because ... it's literally just occured to me that I can now ask a whole range of pepole about what they think about Catherine Tate being the Doctor's new companion while Martha goes of to Torchwood for four episodes.
I can also ask people about who they think should be the doctor's new companion.
So go wild and give me and everyone else your opinion on Catherine Tate being the Doctor's companion.

CATHERINE TATE WILL MAKE A TERRIBLE COMPANION FOR THE DOCTOR AND SHOULD PROBABLY BE BEATEN TO DEATH WITH A BIG STICK - VERY HARD...
I THINK I SHOULD BE THE DOCTOR'S NEW COMPANION BECAUSE I AM RESOURCEFUL AND ALSO MUCH MORE AWESOME THAN CATHERINE TATE - BUT THEN, I MET A SLUG YESTERDAY THAT HAD MORE CHARISMA THAN HER.
By the way, Pingu, I'm having a fab holiday sending you guys a letter today! Just off to post it xxx

I'm probably going to get lynched for this, but as much as I hate Catherine Tate's comedy show, I really enjoyed her Donna character. I think it'll be good to have someone so headstrong on board the TARDIS, and she might even bring the Doctor down a few pegs
Though I am looking forward to Martha's return.
And my idea for the Doctor's companion? Not sure exactly what you mean by that, but I think either Sally Sparrow from Blink or (delving totally into the realms of fantasy here) Captain Jack...
SPARROW!! What did you think I was going to say

I don't really like Catherine Tate, although she's slightly less annoying in Doctor Who than in real life. I'll watch it when it's on again and see whether she's as bad as I think she'll be. I might be surprised, she might be really good. Hmm. Anyway, I'm keeping my mind open.
Doctor's new companion. Definitely Captain Jack. Harkness, not Sparrow. (Who doesn't like seeing those two together?) Seriously, watching Doctor Who with Christopher Eccleston in it recently, I remembered how funny the conversations between The Doctor and Jack were - sonic screwdriver and the banana instead of the sonic blaster. (Watch it if you don't know what I'm on about.)

Of course Jack Sparrow should be The Doctor's new companion, who else would be up to the job?
Mad Hatter you shouldn't be so violent.
Can I help you beat Catherine Tate up?
I will be watching the new Doctor Who no matter who the companion is. For me it's all about the weird aliens!
Doctor's New Companion (or will be!)
Aximili Posted Aug 13, 2007
I'm sorry but if you two beat up Catherine Tate, I may have to stop you. A bit
Weird aliens? Nah. Just the Daleks, the Sonic Screwdriver, the TARDIS, the Cybermen, The Master...
They're the best And those Angels from Blink. And the Carrionites. And the Master (again. Get the feeling I like him? )

Just a little!
Maybe if he wasn't dead then he may like the attention that you're giving him, not that he didn't get a lot of attention from Doctor Who!

I'm going to be outrageously plain here and say that I WANT TO MARRY THE MASTER AND THE DOCTOR. And we all know what the purpose of marriage is

Pegasus - Neither bird nor plane Posted Aug 15, 2007
I still maintain that Captain Jack (Harkness) should be the Doctor's new companion. Don't they look great together? I think so.
Talking about marriage, I think that The Doctor and Captain Jack are good candidates, especially considering what the purpose of marriage is....
...Although, who would have the kids? Remember Jack's comment about "Never getting pregnant again"?

You could both have the kids. Take turns. Oooh, the fun...
Funny thought - Jack in materninty clothes. Hehe.

Oh, come on...
I've changed my mind, he can be the man in our relationship...

At least with RDA, there'd be no doubt about who would get pregnant. He's definitely the guy for me. I would go for John Barrowman, but you've already taken him, so that's out.
Remeber our conversation about biology lessons with David Tennant and John Barrowman?

Axi - You know of RDA? Or did you just mean John Barrowman?
Doctor's New Companion (or will be!)
Aximili Posted Aug 29, 2007
Pingu...I may be male, but no WAY am I sensible
You mean I have to settle for Billie? But she's nowhere near as hot as Freema...
And who's RDA? *Sniffs, hoping that there's a light at the end of the tunnel*
Not that I don't think Mr. Barrowman's good-looking too...

RDA - Richard Dean Anderson. Plays Colonel Jack O'Neill in a brilliant TV series called Stargate SG-1. Also was in MacGyver a while ago. I didn't watch that. In his 50s but hey, I don't care. GORGEOUS!!!
See - http://stargate.mgm.com/ for Stargate info
or see - http://www.gateworld.net/ for more Stargate info
or see - http://rdanderson.com/ for RDA info.
Ha, bet you wished you hadn't asked now!
Just so you know, I like Billie and I think she was better as the Doctor's companion. I'll let others argue about how hot she is...
