If you haven't heard of the band Keane, give them a listen. I think they're incredibly wonderful, and the tracks are completely, *adorably* beautiful.
You can listen to them here http://www.keaneband.com/
Go to the bit that says:
Check out the new Keane Player, Click Here and watch the new media player for Keane... You can listen to the songs and see a video of them performing.
Let me know if you like them.

Yes, they are good - more of a Nick Cave bloke me self...by the by - the email address in the invite to the party does not work - I've tried it twoce now and still now good - i don't know whether i'l be able to get back from the smoke yet - Redditch is a hard place to get anywhere after dark - so much for the transport policy, but I'll let you know it I can...
Cheers

Traveller in Time on the headphones
"Thanks for the reminder, I was just searching my MP-list for this posting.
Nah, not really my kind of music. Good clip though.
I wonder how they do that, the music sounds as if there are some loose contacts in the wiring. "

'Somewhere Only We Know' is one of my favourite songs of the year. 'I'm getting old and I need something to rely on...' - I can relate to that.

Woo Hoo!
Ormondroyd likes Keane - and he used to write for NME, so there's an endorsement!

Hi Mark,
I've got 'The Good Son' - Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, that's good too. Only one I've got though, anything else by Nick Cave you particularly recommend?
The GW party invite - I'll check out the email address. If you email me directly - you can get my email address from the Testers email - I'll pass it on to Emily and the team. The party should be interesting, the first ones usually are.

Hi Peta - The Good Son = great - the new one even betterThe lyre of Orpheus and Abattoir Blues - a double CD - one fast stuff the other slower - boppingly good. Three songs last week on Joolz Holland's show - great. Cheers for passing my words on about the email address - tar. Still not sure that I'll be able to make it to London - can the next party be at the Mailbox Birmingham?
Cheers

Peta - please can you pass this note onto Emily for me - the address I was sent is still noe responding
Hi
Thank you very much for the invite to the party. However, like the book launch of The Book of the Future, I an unable to attend due to distence and dosh - Reddtich is so hard to get to and from after dark and I can't afford to stop in London over night - so and this comes with sadness, I will not be able to attend this party bash - sorry - I hope you can pass my invite on to someone else who can come
Cheers
Mark

I'd be shot if I admitted liking Keane over at Rare FM - or played any! *hides copy of 'Hopes & Fears' juat in case* Ah, well...
So, if you want to hear me not playing any Keane, you can listen on Wednesday, 11am - 12.30pm at http://www.rarefm.co.uk/
Sorry if that plug was a bit blatant - still, there is a link since Keane are former UCL people (at least some of them).
Whoami?
